(TLDR: (1) I’m an internet old. (2) DOGE’s goals are grift, destroying most of the federal government, and turning what’s left into a fascist, authoritarian, Christian ethnostate. (3) The thing giving me the most hope right now is that Trump’s tariffs were a catastrophically bad political move which is more likely to wake people up and turn them against him than anything else his administration has done.)
