Triple damages awarded in Sprint case; Sprint tries too late to make the save

By | September 21, 2007

I just found out that the clerk magistrate who heard my small claims case against Sprint has awarded me the triple damages I requested. She mailed out the decision yesterday, September 20. I haven’t gotten it yet, but I spoke to a clerk on the phone today who confirmed the decision.

Also yesterday, totally out of the blue, I received a check in the mail from Sprint for the $262.49 which I tried for six months to get them to refund and which sparked the suit I just won.

Needless to say, I have no intention of letting them get away with not paying the other ~$600 I’ve been awarded by the court.
