Cision is evil

By | December 9, 2014

I’ve recently started receiving a lot of spam from people claiming that they got my email address from Cision.

Needless to say, I never gave my email address to Cision, nor have I ever in any way given them permission to spam me themselves or give my email address out to other people.

Cision is evil.

Rather than explain why in detail, I will merely refer you to the explanation written by Samantha Adams, since she covered it better than I could. I will say just one thing…

If you are a marketer or PR rep paying Cision to give you vetted contact information for people who have opted in to being contacted by you, then Cision is lying to you and ripping you off.
