The City of Boston publishes its schedule of curb-side yard waste pickups, but does not provide any mechanism for receiving a reminder before your block’s pickup so you don’t forget to put out your yard waste. I’m here to fix that!
If you would like to receive a reminder email the day before and day of your yard waste pickup, email me and let me know what weekday your trash pickup normally is, and I’ll start emailing you reminders.
I’ve already written the code that scrapes the dates from the published schedule and generates reminders for my family, so I might as well use it to help out anyone else who would benefit from it.
