Regarding my comics aggregator, three updates effective January 1, 2023:
- After a 50-plus year run, Funky Winkerbean’s last strip was December 31, 2022. It has been removed from the aggregator.
- Crankshaft has moved its syndication from Comics Kingdom to GoComics, which means you can now read it in the aggregator without paying for a Comics Kingdom subscription.
- Mother Goose & Grimm has also moved from Comics Kingdom to GoComics, so you can also now read it in the aggregator without a subscription. Having said that, the aggregator isn’t actually getting it from GoComics; it’s getting it from the official Mother Goose & Grimm web site.

- I maintain a simple comics aggregator which allows you to read your daily comics and columnists in one place. The aggregator itself is accessible here. The user guide is here.
- You can access most comics and columns free through the aggregator. However, one of the syndicators that publishes a bunch of strips, Comics Kingdom, has made it clear that they don’t want people doing that, and I’m not interested in getting into a legal tussle with them or abusing their intellectual property rights, so if you want to read Comics Kingdom strips through the aggregator, you need to pay them $19.99 per year for a membership.
