Users of my comics aggregator who are also Comics Kingdom subscribers may have noticed that Tina’s Groove and Edge City have been missing in the aggregator for more than a week. This is because they are also missing on Comics Kingdom, which has stopped updating them without explanation.
This is not the first step this has happened to. The folks over at Comics Kingdom seem to have trouble keeping their site up and running properly, and furthermore, their responsiveness to support inquiries has dropped pretty much to zero in the past year or so. I raised a support ticket about this with them when Tina’s Groove first skipped a day more than two weeks ago, and they still haven’t responded.
Pingback: What the heck is going on with syndication for the “Edge City” comic strip – Something better to do
Edge City moved to Go Comics.
You’re right! I’ve reconfigured the aggregator to get it from there. Thanks!
Interestingly, GoComics has a history for Edge City going back years, and it doesn’t match up with the comics that ran on those dates on Comics Kingdom. I mean, it’s all fake since the strip has been in reruns for years, but I guess I would have expected them to line them up if they were going to move from one syndicate to another.
