Our local credit union just had to be taken over by the state due to too many bad loans (mortgages people walked out on, I think). scary though of course they say nothing on the website… which did at least stay up!
It was back up a little after 11:00am. So it was down for at least an hour and a quarter.
Chase does a lot of things wrong, but they once had a Web site outage after which they sent email to all of their customers admitting to and apologizing for it. I doubt Citizens Bank will do the same thing, although they certainly should.

Back up at 12:15pm. Total outage time: at least two hours and twelve minutes so far.
It went down again at 11:18am. More news as events warrant.
