I found this photocopy in my mailbox yesterday after returning from a two-day trip:
I’ve redacted identifying information both because I prefer not to publish other people’s names, identifying information and private correspondence without their consent, and because I don’t want this to turn into a personal battle among residents on our block.
I will have more to say about this soon; it would be premature for me to discuss here how I intend to respond to this. In the meantime, I thought people might find it interesting.
Wow. That’s surprising. I hope it can be resolved without significant enmity.
Presumably by the time this is done, the official community decision-making process will have been fulfilled, and though clearly at least one party will be disappointed by whatever decision is made, at least everyone will know that the decision was fair and was arrived at properly.
One can at least hope…
Yes, except “wants the signs to stay up” is actually “wants the signs to be put back up,” because as I noted in my last blog entry, the signs were taken down on Friday.
I’m not sure I follow. Is the letter from a neighbor who wants the signs to stay up?
